Bye-bye strict timetables...! - The Bloggers League 2022

When we are planning for multi-tasking, we divide our time and allocate it for each task. That is a great thing, as it gives a chance for incremental growth, eventually getting compounded...

    Scheduling makes us punctual; sometimes forces us to be punctual if someone is counting on us, say an examination, office meeting, so on...

    Besides strict things, some activities should happen at planned times, like sports, gym, etc. But, we still have things, that can be done in our free time - say reading books, solving puzzles, or learning something of our passion. Should we also maintain the timetable in those cases...? Well, may not be that necessary...

We get used to a task at the same time if we have a strict timetable; In a way, can also affect our peace...

Suppose due to urgent work, we missed a task 
    - We may develop a bad feeling,
    - This can lead to frustration, anger, regret, grief... 
    uff... Enough damage will happen by then..!

    The main target at the end of the day - don't miss any tasks in the list; Don't be concerned for the order.. (At least in the starting days of new habits; give some flexibility for them to become a part of you..!)

    Hence, My dear friend, try making the list random and feel the surprise of random events in life... Go for what your heart picks from the list...

    Well, however, you can always prefer your way of doing things if your heart says this method can fail you very badly...

  1. I so agree with you, I am not a planner. Because I totally get when you say if you cannot stick to the plan it just makes you feel bad even though you have achieved more. So a big yes to No planning.

  3. I've found great improvement in my day to day life by meticulous planning, but yes there are days when the small goals achieved in a tough day is satisfactory.

  4. I don't always plan a day. I love doing things randomly but there are days when I have to complete certain work in certain time, then planning really helps. So for me, both things work according to situation but I love the way you presented your thoughts and I agree with you.

  5. I plan; I cannot always get through my routine if I don't have a plan. But I also know that I cannot multitask and I cannot work at the 11th hour, so I plan accordingly and that, in fact, has proved to be very helpful for me!

  6. I'm more of an organized person but I agree with you it's all right if everything doesn't go according to your plan and go with the flow if that's what makes you happy and give peace to your mind

  7. I am a planner addict and if I don't follow it I tend to overthink and panic but yes I agree with you that we need to be more fluid and pick up random tasks and enjoy the process

  8. I do plan but not specific timings. I try to divert when I get that procrastination feel so that keeps me going.

How can we become narrow-minded people without realising it?

In science, whenever we observe a novel event, we start sharpening our brains to decode it. We make a couple more observations related to that event, and try to get a reason for it. It was also the same with the previous generation of scientists. They observed various new phenomena and they gathered as much information as possible to get the accurate reason behind them. But there was a problem with the human mind. In the past days, when there was limited information at hand and more time was required for getting new information, scientists had to make the best possible theories (i.e., explanations) with whatever data was available. It was like a competition, where the scientist with the best theory would win. This "winner" scientist, should be able to explain the data from future experiments with the theory. Consider that, a new experiment happened later, but the results were not explained by the theory of our scientist, then the theory was to be changed, and again the compet...
